Electric gates add convenience, security and kerb appeal to any property, letting you open and close your entrance at the touch of a button or from your phone. They're a popular upgrade for both new installations and existing manual gates.
Almost any gate can be automated, including swing and sliding gates in metal, wood, composite or aluminium. We'll recommend the right automation system based on your gate's size, weight and how your driveway is laid out.
Yes, in many cases we can retrofit automation to a gate you already have, provided it's structurally suitable. We'll assess your current gate during a site visit and advise whether retrofitting or a new automated gate is the better option.
Electric gates are generally more secure than manual ones, since they keep your entrance closed by default and can include safety sensors, keypad or intercom access, and automatic locking. We'll talk you through the access control options available.
Most systems include a manual release or battery backup so you're never locked in or out during a power cut. We'll explain the specific arrangement for your chosen automation system as part of your quote.
