A sliding automated gate system is popular with homeowners with limited space or parking.

There are two types of automation when it comes to sliding automated gates. The first is a cantilever automated gate, perfect for uneven driveways and supported by rollers which slide into a tubular track that is fitted at the bottom of the gate.

The second type of automation is a tracked sliding automated gate and requires a track to run along a ground mounted rail.

More preparation and groundwork is required to install a sliding automated gate and worth bearing in mind when thinking about a budget.

Many thanks to Jamie, Lennon, Nicola for a thorough, professional no-fuss experience. They know their stuff and are deep in it. We swapped out an old non-functional sliding gate with a custom-made, wood-clad beauty. Jamie assessed what we had and worked with us on the design, (including accommodating some last-minute changes of mind). Lennon then put it all together on site including automation and electronics. The whole thing looks great, works great and I can't believe I didn't get to this earlier.

Taylormade Gates have provided two beautiful gates to match the existing railings surrounding my property. The gates are of superb quality and were expertly installed. You were nice to deal with all the way from enquiry, through survey, and fitting. Very happy with Taylormade gates, can highly recommend them! They installed a swing gate for us and even removed the old one due to be collected without issue. Great communication and Lennon was very diligent and walked me through all the setting, app details and set up with the gate. Great team, very friendly and clearly really knows what the are doing! Gate looks awesome and very solid and smooth action.

Jamie & his able colleague visited me today. Quality professional job completed without fuss and product delivered was exactly what was asked for.

Not often these days that people do exactly what they undertook to do. Taylormade should be proud of the straightforward quiet competence that underpins their approach.

They installed a sturdy but elegant auto gate for our house this Summer ; The process as from the design, to customise at the factory, to our colour choice etc all took times and carful considerations. All of them from Jamie , Lennon to their back office always return the requests via emails or the calls timely with no delay to support the ideas and make it happens on time - Positive thinking and reacted quickly!

Further , after the installation, they also visited the house quickly and fix the minor issue without any delay! They are very competitive, supportive and reliable - so very happy to recommend them without hesitation!

We recently upgraded our video entry system with Taylormade Gates & Railings. This is the third time we have worked with them in the past decade. Jamie and his team are fantastic and nothing is a problem.

Superb electric gates and a new video entry system. Always friendly service and helpful advice from Jamie, Nicola, Lennon and the team.

I can’t speak highly enough!

They installed a high quality gate, and were constantly happy to deal with shifting requirements and concerns when really they didn’t have to. They even agreed to come back and sort something small post-installation - which is really a nice touch as it shows how much they care about doing a great job.

Jamie and Lennon were very skilled and great to have around, and Nicola-Jane very communicative and helpful.

Just get your gate from these guys! They’re fantastic.

Appalling service. gates delivered wrong colour. Reluctantly removed and then delivered in correct colour Gates then fitted to reinforced concrete cored brick piers with structurally inadequate brackets. As a result one fell off onto a visitor after only 2 weeks in use. Jamie refused to rectify and used expletives when so doing. Another company has since rectified the inadequate brackets and the gates are now safely installed.

Initial Contact

As soon as your enquiry has been received we will get to work on ascertaining what your requirements are. We will then drop you an email or give you a call to discuss things a little further.

Consultation/Site Survey

Once we’ve had a chat to discuss specifics around the style, colour, location and functionality of your gate, we may need to carry out a site survey in order to finalise the details of our proposal.

Proposal

Once our team has all the information they require we will come back to you with a quotation. It will detail the specifications as well as the lead time and proposed installation dates.

A Thorough & Quality Build

We will ensure that the project is completed to the agreed specifications and within the agreed timelines. On the day of installation our staff will ensure that the working area is as we found it.
